My debut novel Osiris will be published by Night Shade Books in June 2012, and is the first in a trilogy, The Osiris Project.

“Marvelously well done.”
- Adam Roberts, Arthur C. Clarke Award & BFSA nominee
“A vivid, exotic, turbulent world on the far, far side of our own era, populated by characters delicate and brawling, refined and coarse, timid and bold, vengeful and loving—in short, a full spectrum of humanity.”
- Paul Di Filippo, author of A Princess of The Linear Jungle
“At a time when writing the far future novels is harder and harder Swift does it with style, brains and heart. Osiris is a fine mix of mystery and apocalyptic intrigue on a human scale.”
- Richard Kadrey, author of Sandman Slim
Fifty years after the ocean city of Osiris lost contact with the outside world, the Architect’s grandson Axel Rechnov mysteriously disappears. His twin sister Adelaide, socialite and family miscreant, is convinced that Axel is still alive.
One month later, Vikram, a third-generation climate refugee, watches the execution of a falsely convicted activist, and resolves to act to help the impoverished western quarter. Cityside of the Border, Adelaide also witnesses the execution.
As another frozen winter envelops the City’s labyrinthine towers, discontent is growing in the west. Adelaide and Vikram’s paths will collide in a story about the search for truth, the testing of personal convictions and the unlikely alliance of two people united by their separate pasts.
